American Eagle Denim Jean Shorts Guide

I have been a super fan of American Eagle denim shorts for as long as I can remember. They have such a variety of fit and washes, cuts and waists. This is a round up I put together of what is out there now for Spring 2021!

The first pair of shorts are my favorite! I had to use them for the cover photo here because they are that good. They are the AE Ne(x)t Level Curvy High-Waisted Denim Short Short and everything about them is flattering for spring and summer from the wash, to the waist to the cut to the stretch. These are perfection to me! Love the lighter denim too for spring. Next is the AE Denim Mom Shorts. These have a vintage 80’s wash to them and vibe but with a current cut. No stretch in these cuties, and I find them more flattering on! Also, love the lighter wash on these for spring to lighten and brighten your wardrobe.

Ok, so I hesitated to put up these AE Crossover Denim Mom Shorts in black…yet I love them. They have a ton of larger, rips but they are super popular right now and look cute on so I’m leaving them on here. I think they are great for concerts or summer outdoor events, just not my every day life running all over town. Being honest here!

AE Stretch Crossover Denim Mom Shorts in Medium Tinted are very similar to an AE pair I owned last year and wore literally every single day! These are distressed, but not overly distressed. Throw on a tee and there is the perfect summer uniform piece! Also the AE Stretch Denim Mom Shorts and AE Ne(x)t Level Curvy High-Waisted Denim Short Short are also two home run pairs just like the previous. Like most of those above I you could LIVE in these all summer. Bring out the tank tops and tee shirts! Shop everything below.
